Although the New Holland CR9090 has stolen the limelight this year, the manufacturer has made a few other changes that are worthy of a mention.
The CR9060 now joins the 9070 (469hp), 9080 (530hp) and 9090 (591hp) by getting its Elevation badge. The model now has an extra 28hp and develops 422hp, while it also now features New Holland’s highly successful Opti-Clean system. With the extra power and the new Opti-Clean shoe, its net capacity has been increased by between 5-10%.
The brand’s CSX and CS series combines have been merged to leave a five-model CSX7000 line-up for next harvest. This, New Holland says, removes complexity in the offering and strengthens the company’s overall position.
The CS6050 becomes the five-straw walker, 242hp CSX7040 and the CS6080 is now the six-straw walker, 272hp CSX7070, while the 2009 offering also includes the CSX7050 with five straw walkers and 258hp, the CSX7060 with five straw walkers and 303hp and the CSX7080 with six straw walkers and 333hp.
The CSX models all have the Intelliview II screen and turntable stairs, while all but the CSX7040 now feature the fourth straw flow beater as standard. Options include remote sieves and yield monitoring.
