To increase sales in the European market, Dieci has launched an all-new torque converter telehandler called the Agri Plus 40.7 to compliment its established hydrostatic range.
Dieci has looked hard at the current offerings of its competitors and has designed a new machine from the ground up. The all-new chassis has a low boom pivot and the heavy-duty boom has been designed for strength, visibility, manoeuvrability, and stability. The 40.7 has an integrated rear ballast weight, and with no overhang it has one of the tightest turning circles of any 4,000kg/7m telehandler on the market.
Dieci is using a range of well-known and proven components for this all-new telehandler. It has always used two limited-slip differentials for superb traction and wet inboard brakes on all its machines, and the new Agri Plus 40.7 is no exception. The axles are sourced from Spicer, while the 128hp turbo intercooled engine is built by Iveco. The four-forward/three-reverse powershift transmission is from Clarke transmissions.
So what makes the Dieci offering different to its competitors? Dieci knows these machines are going to be worked hard and have designed a high-output cooling system encompassing a large, rear, open-core radiator with an auto-reversing hydraulic fan. With just a flick of a switch, the fan switches to self-cleaning mode. To ensure the powershift transmission is kept cool Dieci are the only company to offer a large separate transmission-cooling radiator.
The Dieci Agri plus 40.7 is fitted with a third pedal used as an inching facility, a standard feature on all its hydrostatic machines.
Dieci will be launching the new machine with an optional high-output, fully proportional single-lever control hydraulics and a 160-lit/min oil flow.
Two cab height options are available at 2300mm or 2450mm, both giving 360-degree high visibility. Boom suspension is available at the flick of a switch.
The 40.7 is fitted with a 160-litre fuel tank, and is supplied with a choice of cross ply or radial tyres.
Dieci now has a growing network of dealers across the country, and this new machine will further strengthen the company’s position in the UK marketplace.
